Hi, I’m TJ, the founder of Lifelong Audio. I know people can’t live forever but their stories can.
At Lifelong we turn personal stories into a multi-episode audio series, that you and your loved ones can continuously enjoy.
Lifelong was inspired to be, when I received the news that my Father had fallen ill. I then started interviewing him, alongside other loved ones with a view to putting his life story into a book.
However I soon found that editing the interview audio, adding some narration, music and other cultural aspects relevant to my Dad, would result in a different experience to a book. No need to print out multiple copies and get them sent out to various people, when I could create a piece of audio that could be easily shared with 100s of people, if need be.
My Dad and family were overjoyed with the final product. So drawing on my experience starting a media company and working in various technology startups over the past 11 years, I put together Lifelong.
The aim is elevate personal stories to their rightful status of being valuable heirlooms, that can be passed from generation to generation.
It’s a simple and fun process, as we work with leading media, creative and design professionals to carry out insightful interviews and the final product is housed on your own private website. The audio series is also presented on a physical item of your choice. We have even put a Lifelong series on vinyl for a client!
